BioI grew up in the small town of Newburgh, NY. If you know where the Military Academy of West Point is, we lived 20 minutes Northeast of that place. That place is why I never joined the Army (sorry, LT Sunshine). I became interested in sciences (biology, chemistry, marine biology, ecology) at the ripe age of six. I'm a science geek from way back when (I still have my college science text books.) I decided I wanted to join the Coast Guard at the age of 14, and still haven't changed my mind. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.
